Year 3 have been getting stuck in making their own musical instruments this week. We gave them names like mint choc ice cream and the lightening striker! We filled cups with dried pasta and sealed them with foil and tape, then decorated them however we wanted. We could tap, shake, flick and spin our instruments in different ways to make completely different sounds. We took them home to share with our families! Year 5 have been learning how to play the keyboard this half term and can now identify the main keys, play some tunes using C, D and E and also compose their own music on a stave. Well done Year 5!
