Reception - Snow!

Reception had great fun in the snow! 

 

First we looked at the footprints that had been left. The children applied their previous learning suggesting they could be from the Gingerbread man or the Evil Pea! They spotted animal footprints too and thought this may be the Gingerbreads Cat - I guess we'll never know!

 

We sprayed coloured water and watched the colours run into each other to make new colours, we felt the snow and described it as cold, wet, white, glittery, sparkly, magical, soft and fluffy. What Fantastic adjectives from our youngest children! 

 

The staff were also incredibly proud of how sensibly they behaved and the fantastic team sprit they showed as they ALL worked together to make this adorable snowman!
