Year 5 Natural History Museum
As part of their topic on evolution and adaptation, Year 5 visited the Natural History Museum on Tuesday 18th December. “We stepped off the coach and looked at the huge museum in front of our eyes. We went inside, and we were all amazed at what was in front of us. We all went into the green zone and put our bags and coats there. After that we went to the gem room and saw some lovely gems and crystals! Then we went to the Dino room and we saw a moving T. Rex which was amazing! We had lunch and then we moved on to the stuffed animals and we saw some incredible creatures. We went up a giant escalator and went on an earthquake simulator which was really fun. Finally, we saw The Big Blue Whale and a human evolution room which was fascinating! We all had a great time. Thank you teachers for taking us!”. Josh and Amelia, 5 Holmes
